In June 2026, we facilitated a session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at Casagrand International School, Perumbakkam. The session brought together teachers & students - to talk through what POCSO actually means in practice - not just the legal definitions, but how abuse can show up in a child's behavior, emotions, or physical wellbeing, and how easy it is to miss the signs if people don't know what to look for.
We spent time unpacking reporting obligations and what safe, sensitive reporting looks like in a school setting, along with practical ways educators and caregivers can build environments where children feel comfortable speaking up. The session closed with an open discussion where participants could bring real questions and scenarios to the table. Our goal throughout was to leave people with both a clearer understanding of the law and the confidence to act on it when it matters most.

Building a safer environment requires active participation, continuous learning, and open communication. These moments capture the essence of our shared commitment to child safety.
